Media Policy

At Driftless Ministries, our goal is to faithfully document and share stories of what God is doing across the Driftless Region. We are committed to doing this in a way that honors, respects, and protects every individual—especially children and families.

Our Purpose

We capture photo and video content to:

  • Share testimonies and stories of faith

  • Highlight ministries, events, and community impact

  • Encourage and connect others through real-life examples of God at work

Content may be shared through:

Filming at Events

When attending events we cover, photography or video recording may take place.

Wide and group shots may be captured during public ministry events to help tell the story of the event as a whole.

We work in partnership with churches and organizations to ensure attendees are aware when filming is taking place.

Children & Youth

We take special care when filming minors.

  • We avoid focusing on individual children without permission

  • We do not conduct on-camera interviews with minors without parental consent

  • We respect all requests to avoid filming specific children

When a child is featured (close-up, interview, or identifiable focus), parent or guardian permission is required.

Opt-Out Requests

We fully respect the wishes of families.

If you prefer that you or your child not appear in any photo or video, please notify a church leader or a member of our team at the event.

We will make every reasonable effort to honor your request.

Respect & Sensitivity

We are committed to filming in a way that reflects the heart of ministry.

We avoid capturing sensitive or private moments and any situation that could cause embarrassment or harm.

Media Use

Content may be edited for clarity, storytelling, and length.

We do not sell personal information or use content in a way that misrepresents individuals or ministries.

Partnership with Churches

We work closely with churches and ministry leaders to ensure proper communication with attendees, awareness of filming, and alignment with each church’s expectations.
